ARTIST PROFILE

Catherine Rowe, jewelry designer and owner of OZ! Gallery of Fine Jewelry, began studying metalsmithing and gemology 20+ years ago. Originally from the Midwest, she received her BFA from The University of Illinois, and her certification in diamonds and diamond grading from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). She has worked for several distinguished jewelry stores in both Chicago and Vail, eventually opening OZ! Gallery in 1992. She is a member of the Womans Jewelry Association, Northern California Chapter, and participates in the Designers By the Bay Show that takes place annually at Shreves Jewelers in San Francisco.
